Octilla™ is a prepaid mobile service provided by Via One Networks, LLC (“Via One”).
Via One maintains the website www.octilla.com (the “Site”). Via One is strongly
committed to protecting the privacy of the users of Octilla services and strives
to provide a safe and secure internet environment for its users.
The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform each user of the Site (each, a “Customer”),
as a welcome visitor of Via One, regarding what types of information Via One may
gather about each Customer when a Customer visits www.octilla.com, how Via One may
use or disclose that information, and the control a Customer has regarding Via One’s
use of that information.
Information Gathering
The Site
The Site automatically gathers certain usage information including the number and
frequency of visitors to the Site. Via One only uses such data in the aggregate
to help it determine how much the Customers use parts of the Site. Via One may provide
statistical, non-personal, “ratings” information, to our Via One partners, affiliates,
and other third parties about how our Customers use the Site. For example, Via One
uses cookies that tell us how and when pages in our site are visited as well as
the frequency and duration of those visits. Via One, its advertisers and ad servers
may use cookies to anonymously determine which advertisements and promotions Customers
have seen and their response to those advertisements. These technologies are not
used to collect personally identifiable information unless permission is given by
the Customer.
A Customer may be asked for certain personal information when using certain features
of the Site. Via One may use that information for internal marketing purposes to
keep its Customers appraised of additional products and services provided by Via
One and its partners or affiliates which might be of interest to a Customer. A Customer
can choose not to receive such information by letting us know on the registration
screen when the Customer signs up for the product or service. Via One does not use
or disclose information about a Customer’s individual visits to the Site. Via One
may share Customer information in response to legal process, such as a court order
or subpoena, or in other special cases, such as a physical threat to you or others.
